Why does my platform not perform the live update?

When the MT4 platform is closed and a new update is released, the next time you relaunch the platform a message will appear asking you to update you platform.

If you are not getting these updates, the issue may be caused by a firewall stopping the update. To update your platform you may need to temporarily disable your firewall.

To force an upgrade, close the platform, right click on the MT4 icon and select ‘Open as Administrator’ (You may need to do this twice).
