Demo accounts operate in a simulated market environment. Although they are designed to reflect many Live trading conditions, Demo trading may not fully replicate factors that can affect execution in a Live account.

Yes. Axi Australia supports MT5 Demo accounts. You can create one from the Client Portal by going to the Demo section and following the prompts to open a new MT5 account.
 

Are Demo account spreads the same as Live account spreads?

Axi Standard and Pro Demo accounts use the same spreads and swap rates as their corresponding Live Standard and Pro accounts. However, Demo trading takes place in a simulated environment, so other aspects of execution may differ from Live trading.

How do I open an MT4 or MT5 Demo trading account?

You can create an MT4 or MT5 Demo account through the Axi Client Portal. Select the Demo section, choose your account type and platform, then select your account currency, virtual starting balance and preferred leverage before creating the account. Axi Demo accounts are free to open and can be used for 30 days.

Can I change the base currency of my Demo account?

Not after the Demo account has been created. If you want to practise using a different base currency, you will need to open another Demo account and select the new currency during setup.
