I’m going to take you through the Connect terminal. On the chart, it’s a simple drag-and-drop. Just wait for it to load. In Connect, you have a number of things you can do.
First of all, we have a news feed. In here, you have some news feeds pre-built. If you have an RSS feed from any service you want, you can add that in. You can add a filter. If you want to filter the news by a particular keyword, you can do that. You can add a time limit so it is only showing you news for a certain amount of time. You can also undock the window. It allows you to take your Connect terminal outside of MT4 NexGen.
Then we have a calendar. A calendar outlines the events. You can actually set alarms for the alerts. It’s a very useful feature so you don’t forget that you have an event coming up. You can see information about the news event. You can see its importance, what currency pairs it affects, and what the news event actually is. Again, you have filter functionality here, let’s say you only want to see the important upcoming events for the week. The time zone for the news is your computer’s time zone. It’s useful – you don’t have to do the manual adjustment if you look at a news service outside of MT4 NexGen.
If you click on Fund Your Account, it gives you account funding options.
There are also some MT4 How-to-Use Videos for learning to use the platform.
You have Support. If you want to get in touch, you’ll do that here.
The Blog is full of information about MT4 NexGen training, there are articles on how to develop a winning trading strategy, and there is also some technical analysis. It’s a very useful resource for you as a trader.
Finally, we have Trade Analysis. There is going to be a separate video for this. What it basically does is it allows you to analyze your trading from inside the platform. In terms of optimizing your trading strategy, it’s a very important tool. We’ll go through session in detail on how to use the Trade Analysis.
That’s how to use the MT4 NexGen Connect.
